PURPOSE STATEMENT
In 1988, the firm was established with an eye towards creating an efficient trial firm, uniquely equipped to service the litigation and trial needs of other law firms and their clients. A substantial number of the firm’s clients have been
and continue to be referred by other attorneys and law firms. Though the largest number of the firm’s clients historically have been referred by other lawyers, a growing number of
our present clients have retained the firm directly.
Since the firm’s inception, our services have been for the most part devoted to the preparation and trial of civil law suits before the state and federal courts of the United States. Mr. Shimko has litigated cases in the state and federal courts of such diverse jurisdictions as Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, and Washington.
Given the high cost of legal fees and services, the goal of the firm has been to furnish the best legal representation to
our clients in the most efficient manner in order to provide the most effective results.
Although litigation has been the mainstay of the firm’s business over the last 15 years, recently, the firm has been asked more and more frequently
to advise clients, companies and individuals seeking either to avoid litigation or to prepare for the inevitability of it. To that end, Mr. Shimko and his staff are able to provide the unique perspective to clients that can only come from a lawyer that has
succeeded at what the client is trying to avoid or prevent. And, it is the prevention of litigation
that is usually the most cost effective result that a client can obtain.
