Daniel Shimko is a versatile and experienced litigator. Admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2008 and the New York Bar in 2009, Mr. Shimko has spent his career inside trial and appellate courtrooms, proving his clients’ cases with meticulous detail and preparation. Backed by experience and exemplary results, Mr. Shimko started his own firm in 2013. He has successfully litigated countless cases, ranging from complex business disputes, personal injury and medical malpractice, federal claims, insurance disputes, challenges to government agency procedures and determinations, copyright enforcement, and trust disputes. Mr. Shimko insists on direct and meaningful meetings and communications with each of his clients to employ tailored strategy and litigation tactics.
In 2013, Mr. Shimko was recognized by the New York Law Journal and VerdictSearch in their issue of Top New York Verdicts of 2012 as among “the best of the best” New York lawyers. Mr. Shimko’s verdict in Allam v. Meyers, a domestic violence case tried in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, was listed as one of the top 10 intentional tort verdicts obtained in 2012 for all of New York.
